The pre-school was originally set up in 1982 as a committee run charitable organisation by a group of parents whose children had outgrown their toddler group. Fast forward 41 years and the constitution that needs to be followed in order to keep Puffin Pre-School running was outdated leading the charity to fold due to no parental committee members. The pre-school was taken over as a privately run pre-school (Ofsted Registration 2766362) to be able to remain as a pre-school which has become a vital part of the community serving and supporting children aged 2-4 and their families.
